That would depend on what you are looking for. Never say never but not on my bucket list. I can see why some go back just for the location and staff. It is very spread out so can be daunting. It outdoes some 4 star resorts in restaurants and some amenities. If they could pull it all together and be consistent it could qualify as a 3. Some areas are excellent and some are bad. Best to buy a phone package before travel. Some will have major cell phone bills for dealing with emergencies at home and medical issues. There was no way to call home or friends off resort. You can sometimes charge your larger CUC bills for smaller change at the lobby desk or bar staff. The Brisas closed their bank for the 3 day Easter holiday so they all came to the Amigo. The International Bank is not open on weekends. I was very impressed with the public bathrooms in the tropical section. Would be nice if they added some benches to the front garden area.
No biggy! The main lobby can get very crowded as it serves all sections. The villa one could be a bit noisy at times because it is where the kids club is. Īll pools had entry by both ladders and steps.
